Medway City Estate Recycling Project

Remade South East is leading a partnership with Medway Council, the Federation of Small Businesses and Viridor Waste Management to work with businesses on the Medway City Estate to increase commercial recycling and waste minimisation.

 

Recycling Bank Trial

A FREE paper and cardboard recycling bank has been installed on the Medway City Estate for business use.

The recycling bank will be available on the estate from December 2007 - February 2008 as part of a business recycling trial.

During this trial Remade South East and Viridor Waste Management will monitor use of the bank to test the long term viability of keeping it on the estate permanently.

Any business based on the estate can use the bring bank to recycle for FREE :

  • Paper
  • Newspaper
  • Cardboard
  • Envelopes

Recycling bank location:

  • Just off Sir Thomas Longely Road
  • On the car park next to the post box
  • Opposite The Wholemeal Breakfast Company

Remade have also produced a poster which lists recyclers that collect or receive materials from businesses on the Medway City Estate.

  • Metal
  • Wood
  • Glass
